Ping Yan (Amy) was born in Shanghai, China. She received her Bachelor degree in Design (Interior Design) with Honours 1st Class and her Master’s degree in Arts (Art in Public Space) from RMIT University. Yan has been working as artist and curator since 2014 and has been included in various important shows including “Myths Beneath the Carlton” at the Carlton Club, Melbourne, Victoria as a part of Melbourne Fringe Festival 2016. She has also co-curated “Re-generation” at China House Gallery, Penang, Malaysia. She has been involved in the project “Hospital for Broken Things” which was highly commended by IDEA2015 (Interior Design Excellence Awards) under the event category. Yan currently lives and works in Shanghai, China.
